Welcome to the ACME workshop blog
Why a tool maker keeps a blog, and what you will find on this one. (A demo post on Domma CMS.)

Demo post. ACME Ltd is a fictional Sheffield tool maker, invented to show the free Blog Tool working on a real site. The advice is genuine; the company is not.
Sixty-odd years after Albert Whitfield opened a one-room forge on Neepsend Lane, ACME still makes most of what it sells within a mile of the River Don. This blog is where the people who make the tools write about using them.
What to expect
- Workshop notes - short, practical how-tos from the bench: sharpening, setting up a plane, choosing a first drill.
- News - new tools, the apprenticeship scheme, and progress on the Attercliffe workshop.
How this blog is built
Everything on this page comes from the free Blog Tool in Domma CMS. Posts are written in the admin, filed under categories and tags, and shown through a layout you choose - no theme files, no developer. The listing you arrived from can be switched between cards and a list, and right-clicked to filter.
