Interaction - Context menus

The right-click is yours.

Build a right-click menu in the admin, say which part of which pages it belongs to, and visitors get it there. The panel below has ACME's demo menu. Right-click it - or press and hold on a phone.

Try Opening hours (a block in a modal), the More submenu, or select some of this text and use Copy.

How it is made

A list of things to do, not a script.

In Content > Context Menus, a menu has four tabs: Binding (a CSS selector for the region, plus which pages or projects), Items (drag to arrange; headers, dividers and submenus), Appearance (accent, corners, shadow, animation) and a Try it panel you right-click before you save.

Each item picks an action from a fixed list - there is deliberately no box to paste JavaScript into, so an editor cannot break the site or open a security hole.

What this menu is made of

  • Bound to .sc-ctx-zone on /showcase/context-menus
  • Open a modal - renders the acme-hours block
  • Navigate - the demo shop, the blog, and a submenu
  • Specials - Copy, Select all, Search this site, Back
  • Copy link and Print
  • Run a CMS Action and collection filter / sort / export are on the list too
Already on every collection

Data displays have one built in.

Every collection display on a Domma site comes with its own right-click menu for filtering, sorting, grouping and exporting - try it on the catalogue or any of the eight looks.
